Dr. Husnia Gargash is a renowned leader in Assisted Reproductive Technology and Women’s Healthcare within the Middle East region Having graduated from Baghdad University, she went on to gain further expertise with postgraduate training in London. Her specialty was honed alongside Professor Ian Craft – one of the top international experts in Reproductive Medicine. Upon returning to UAE, she served as Consultant & Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, while also teaching at Dubai Medical College as an Associate Professor & Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also served as the Consultant – Reproductive Medicine and the Medical Director of Dubai Gynecology and Fertility Center.

Her professional credentials are reinforced by both the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) licences, with extensive experience in the UAE since 2017.

For eight years, she led the embryology unit as Lab Director at Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai, India, where she trained numerous national and international IVF fellows in embryology and conducted multiple hands-on workshops in Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). She has also published research on blastocyst culture in the Reproductive Medicine Journal.

Mrs Vediam is highly skilled in embryology troubleshooting techniques and has mastered embryo biopsies and cell tubing, including cell stage and trophectoderm procedures. Her exceptional expertise extends to TESA, PESA, PICSI, blastocyst culture, as well as embryo and oocyte vitrification and thawing techniques.

She has wide academic and technical knowledge, consistently updating herself through international conferences bracing up with both DHA and MOH license.

Her expertise includes Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), embryo and oocyte freeze -thaw techniques with 100%survival rates, as well as testicular biopsy and sperm preparation techniques.

She pursued specialised training in biopsy and tubing techniques for trophectoderm and cell stage procedures at Igenomix, Spain, and is highly proficient in these procedures.

Her additional training includes, attending hands -on workshops and courses in Greece driven by her passion for continuous professional development in the field of IVF.
