Diagnostic and therapeutic Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy Examination

Hysteroscopy is a highly useful surgical procedure for diagnosing and treating fertility issues. A Hysteroscopy involves inserting a scope through the cervix into the uterus – allowing us to look closely at the interior walls of the uterus, known as the endometrium. Hysteroscopies are used to diagnose disorders such as uterine fibroids or polyps and can even be used to perform corrective procedures like correcting an abnormal uterine cavity or removing scar tissue from C-section births.
